Learn How to Close the Reading Gap With AIM
Who We Are
AIM is a national, nonprofit organization transforming lives through literacy. Through the AIM Institute for Learning & Research, we empower educators with the science, structure, and strategies to teach every child to read. Our professional learning courses and research-to-practice partnerships equip teachers and leaders to advance literacy for all learners. At our 1st–12th grade school, AIM Academy in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, those same principles come to life every day—serving as a living lab where evidence-based instruction helps students with language-based learning differences thrive.

"The Pathways to Proficient Reading course that our staff participated in has been instrumental as they continue to grow their knowledge base around the science of reading and best practices in literacy instruction. The course reaffirmed the importance of strong literacy practices and helped solidify the 'why' behind our new curriculum adoption. The information, practices, strategies, and ideas they learned have transferred into classrooms and are having a direct impact on student learning."
